Credit Union Miracle Day, Inc. (CUMD) took first place honors in the 2009 CUNA Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Awards. Since the 2001 inception of our organization, we have donated $3.6 million to Children’s Miracle Network in support of Children’s Hospitals nationwide. “We are so very proud of this achievement and look forward to another exciting race year,” said Juri Valdov, Chairman of CUMD. “We are fortunate to have 22 active volunteer board and committee members from 14 credit unions and related organizations who work hard to accomplish our mission: to support Children’s Miracle Network and raise awareness of the credit union difference.” The award will be presented on February 24, 2010 during CUNA’s Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington, D.C.
