Instructions for Race Participants

RUNNER INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION‚ TIMING‚ SCORING
• Bib numbers will be assigned alphabetically without regard to race distance selected.
• When you go to Packet Pickup‚ go to the Alpha Section corresponding to your last name. Tell the Race Volunteer your name and turn over your signed paper waiver confirmation form. If you do not have a waiver already signed‚ waivers will be available for you.
• If you are asking a family member or friend to pick up your packet for you be sure to provide them with the required signed waiver confirmation form in order to collect your bib. You MUST have a signed waiver to pick up a bib for another race participant.
• Entries are non-transferable and non-refundable nor eligible for rollover.
• When the volunteer provides the bib to you‚ IMMEDIATELY confirm correct name spelling‚ age‚ gender‚ hometown and race distance both to ensure that you get the correct bib AND that the scoring information is correct.
• If any information is not correct please go immediately to the Solutions table and provide an update.
• There is a bottom tear-tag on your bib for use for gear bag drop off and pick up. If you choose to use it‚ the tent is located near the Start line. It can be removed from the bib.
• RACE DISTANCE switch must be made pre-race at the Solutions table. Switching up to a longer run will require an incremental entry cost payment; switching down will not offer a refund.
Switches without notifying Solutions will result in scoring disqualification. • Switches on race day for medical reasons will try to be accommodated in scoring if notice is given immediately upon finish to the Timing team at the finish line.
• The bib number has an electronic timing device affixed to the back. You cannot alter the bib number in any way (except for removing the Gear Bag Tag). The bib MUST be worn on the outer-most garment FACING FORWARD and is best attached at chest level with only two upper safety pins for effective timing. YOUR BIB MUST BE VISIBLE AT ALL TIMES IN ORDER TO BE TIMED.
• At each of the race's turnaround points volunteers will be recording bib numbers — please call out your bib number to them as you make the turn.
• Race results will be availabe online at 7 pm on race day.
• Race photos will be posted online. Check website for updates.
